Thymaina is a small Greek island in the Aegean sea which does not have more than 50-80 inhabitants. It is like the Greece of 50 years ago, very simple and pure with virtually no tourism. It is a jewel in the middle of the sea and this is why it is perfect for our work. No external distractions, no cars, no noise.
Thymena Pearl Center is owned by the Institute. The facility is located just a few meters from the beach of Keramidou. The complex is made up of one large group activity room equipped with mattresses, chairs, and instructional materials.It has an indoor and outdoor space, a storage room, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms with showers. There are rooms for guests above and next to the group room. On facility there are 6 bathrooms, 3 kitchens total. There is a courtyard and a beautiful replica of ancient Greek temple made from marble. There is Wifi Internet available throughout the facility. The facility is capable of hosting groups of up to 40 people.
The Pearl center hosted its first group in 2019. We are still building some of the rooms for hosting and expect to finish all construction by 2021.
